Invigorate programme activities

Contents

All sessions are free or low-cost and Invigorate members might be eligible for concessionary pricing. Friends, family members or support workers can join the sessions too – they must pay the same as you do, if there is a charge.

Some sessions are cheaper if you have a Better pay as you go card. The card costs £15.50, or £6 if you qualify for a concessionary card. You can buy a card at the Abbey Leisure Complex, Cherry Hinton Village Centre or Parkside Pools, or register for a Better account online.

You might be eligible to receive a free card if you have been referred for Invigorate membership by a health professional. For more information, read joining the Invigorate programme.

Community swim at Jesus Green Lido

Join volunteer hosts for a peer-supported swim at the beautiful outdoor Jesus Green Lido.

This community swim has an emphasis on ‘dips not distance’ and is a great introduction for anybody who wishes to try cold-water swimming in a safe, group setting.

This session is facilitated by volunteers and does not provide swimming instruction – you must be able to swim to take part.
