Volunteering in sport can be extremely rewarding, and you don’t need to be sporty or have previous experience to take part. It’s a great way to meet people and gain confidencelearn new skills and take on new challenges – and make a difference.

Support your local parkrun

Our local parkrun and junior parkrun events are always looking for volunteers to make these weekly events happen. There are a variety of roles on offer and full training and support is provided.

Parktennis

Parktennis is a free social tennis session for all that is facilitated by volunteers on the outdoor tennis courts on Jesus Green every Saturday morning at 10am. If you’re interested in supporting Parktennis, visit their website for further details.

Become a Wellbeing Walk Leader

Wellbeing Walks is a developing programme of short, friendly group walks that can help you become and stay active. These walks are led by trained volunteers. If you’re interested in being a volunteer walk leader, please get in touch. Full training and support for walk leaders is provided.
