Across Cambridge, we’re proud to support young people as they take their first steps into the construction industry.

Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP), the equal partnership between Cambridge City Council and The Hill Group, is creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation. This isn’t a ‘nice to have’ – it’s central to how we build homes and communities.
From apprenticeships to T Level placements and school engagement, we showcase the wide range of careers available across construction and housing, helping young people turn their skills and ambition into rewarding futures while preparing the next generation of housebuilders for the challenges ahead.

Now, Dan is part of the pioneering new teams’ model with GSQ Brickwork, he’s taking on greater responsibility and mentoring new entrants, helping to shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople while continuing to develop his own career.
Meet Harry at East Barnwell
Every Thursday, Harry joins our team at East Barnwell as part of his T-Level in Management, Surveying and Design.
