Share your views on the redevelopment of Davy Road

In September 2024, we committed to redeveloping existing council owned flats on Davy Road, at a meeting of our Housing Scrutiny Committee.

Through the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP), our partnership with housebuilder, The Hill Group, we intend to build 68 new one-, two- and three-bedroom homes, including 49 council homes to replace the existing 32 council homes.

All 49 council homes will be built to ‘Cam Standard’ sustainability standards. Introduced by Cambridge City Council, this standard ensures that every new home delivers low operational energy usage, high levels of thermal comfort, and strong resilience to future climate impacts.

The proposals will deliver a high-quality, family oriented neighbourhood that combines 22 houses with 46 apartments.

Alongside the new homes, the landscape-led scheme will provide attractive green spaces and clear connections with the surrounding neighbourhood, including Coleridge Recreation Ground.

To share our plans with the local community, we are also holding an in-person event on Wednesday 14 January, from 3pm to 7pm, at the Church Hall at St Martins Church, Suez Road.
